Monthly bookkeeping

Our core service. We keep your records accurate and up to date every month, so you know where you stand and year end is simpler.

• Every transaction recorded and categorised
• Bank and card accounts reconciled against your statements
• Sales invoices and purchase receipts logged and matched
• Supplier and customer balances kept current (Small Business plan)
• A clear monthly summary of income, expenses and what is outstanding
• Anything that looks wrong flagged to you rather than left in the books

We aim to prepare your monthly summary within five working days of month end, and to answer questions by email within one working day.

Catch-up bookkeeping

For records that have slipped behind — a few months or a few years. Priced per month of records, so you know the total before we begin.

£29 per month of records · Details

• We agree the period and the fixed total up front
• Statements and receipts worked through month by month
• Each month reconciled before moving to the next
• Missing items listed so you can find or explain them
• A tidy, complete set of records at the end

You can move on to monthly bookkeeping afterwards so things do not slip again, but there is no obligation to.

Year-end preparation

Reconciled, complete records handed over in good order, so your accountant can get straight on with the return.

Included in both monthly plans

• Full-year reconciliation of every account
• Income and expense totals by category
• Outstanding invoices and bills listed at year end
• Supporting documents organised and referenced
• A concise year-end pack sent to you or directly to your accountant

We prepare the records; your accountant, or you, complete and file the return. If you do not yet have an accountant, we can suggest what to look for.

Bookkeeping health check

A useful first step if you are unsure whether your books are in good shape. One month reviewed against your bank statement, with the findings set out plainly.

You will need one month of bank statement and your existing records for that month. We will explain the simplest way to send them.
